Work Placements and Graduate Schemes
If you want to start a career in the professions right away you may want to consider doing a graduate work placement or an internship in your chosen profession.
They give graduates the opportunity to develop their skills, knowledge and experience while getting firsthand experience of life in a real working environment.
What’s more placement work is one of the best ways for graduates to improve their employability and begin a successful career in the professions.
The Association of Graduate Recruiters site contains advice, events listings and research results. The AGR run a bi-annual survey of the graduate jobs market, the results of which are published in the papers.
